Questions

How do I measure on a PDF drawing?

Tap Open a PDF file on this page and pick the file. Press Measure, pick the scale written on the drawing, then tap where the length starts and where it ends.

Is it free?

Yes. Opening and measuring are free. Open as many files as you like, each up to 40 MB.

Where do I find the scale on a drawing?

Look in the box in the corner of the sheet, where the drawing's name is, or under the name of the plan. It is written like 1:50 or 1:100.

What if I do not know the scale?

Press Measure and choose “I know a length”. Tap both ends of a length you know, such as a door or a dimension written on the drawing, and type it in. The scale is worked out from it.

Does it work with scanned drawings?

Yes, if the scale on the paper is right. A scan has no lines to jump to, so tap carefully.

Can it open DWG and DXF too?

Yes. The same button takes PDF, DWG and DXF files.
